Human Emotion and Interaction Part II

I'm making a separate post for this family because there were just too many to narrow down and fit into the other post. I was on the metro bus, and this father was trying to keep his three very little ones under control. The expressions on their faces and interactions were too funny not to capture!

I know this one is blurry, but it's actually somewhat appropriate... Big Sister was flailing around like crazy and not happy about her Little Sister biting her (I don't blame her)!

Then Little Sister got a big lecture for it...

... and Baby Brother got a kick out of it...

... while Little Sister pouted about it.

The Ant and Elephant Perspectives

I have to say, it was relatively easy to get pictures from the ant perspective... things that are close up, or on the ground shooting up. I generally live my life from an ant perspective, looking up at everything I see (hooray for short people!). The elephant perspective, shooting from above... that was quite a bit more challenging, and to be completely honest, I don't think I got any decent elephant perspective shots yet... which is why I'm going to spend some time in the city tonight looking for some. In the meantime, here are a few crude example of the ant (and one or two that were supposed to be elephant but didn't exactly work out).

(^ This was supposed to be elephant, the railing was supposed to give perspective... but then it just looked an ant on the railing.)

Body Parts Collage

Meet Kimberly! She posed for me to do this collage of pictures. I will be (hopefully) doing another one before the due date, when I have a little more time to take lots of detail, but I don't think this is too bad. The first one is without the greenery as a background, obviously, the second is with it. I couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I posted both!

Fun With Photoshop Part II: Composites

Yay! We learned how to do composites today. Here, the lovely Machang modeled for me against the wall of the studio and I then placed her into this background. 

And a composite just for fun (the pictures of Elvis and the Tour Eiffel do not belong to me):

We also spent some time working on editing things like blemishes, whitening teeth, etc. I used a picture that a friend had taken of myself because it was quick and easy to grab. Here's the before and after, I'll probably be working on editing some old ones of mine and some new cell phone ones as well, I'll post those as I get the chance to work on them.
